At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.

As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:

• 107.771 people have tested positive
• 44.927 patients have recovered
• 23.227 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.

To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 175.925

In detail: there are currently 34.195 positive cases in Lombardy, 14.223 in Piedmont, 13.584 in Emilia-Romagna, 10.444 in Veneto, 6.470 in Tuscany, 4.282 nel Lazio, 3.412 in Liguria, 3.172 in the Marche, 3.045 in Campania,

2.694 in Puglia, 2.171 in Sicily, 1.985 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 1.971 in Abruzzo,  1.556 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 1.403 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 881 in Sardinia, 832 in Calabria, 431 in Umbria, 549 in the Aosta Valley, 262 in Basilicata and 209 in Molise.
